These ancient villages which include building art and folk-custom are gold culture heritage left by our ancestor. For ancient villages, the critical problem which connect with survive or perish is fire. There are many safety problems and hidden trouble in defending fire and putting out a fire of ancient villages. In the mean time, fire hidden trouble left by history and new trouble brought by development of society exit. Now, at defending fire of ancient building facet, there are many researches for monomer ancient architecture, and that colony research is less. It is not delay to make effective fireproofing countermeasure for ancient villages.The text consults some related literatures, summarizes fire fatalness and the reason why ancient villages fire take place; introduces the dynamics evolvement course of ancient villages fire; advances fireproofing countermeasure; analyses the shortage of agent for putting out a fire, fire equipment, fire system, show advantage of using modernization technology and production; in this text we discuss fire protection statute and management's localization and trail of ancient building ,advise how to perfect, discuss the magnitude meaning of fireproofing safety integrate performance evaluation based on performance design method.On this base, we analyze many kinds of fire hidden trouble in two arrangements for Han Cheng city, which include lower village and higher stockaded village. The aggregate of the whole building exit fire fatalness in space overall arrangement, such as the denseness building colony, the anfractuosity laneways is very straitness, so fire engine can't move in the village and succor; the buildings in ancient villages are made of brick and timberwork ,the fire resistance limit is very poor. From the now status we can see that there are not complete fireproofing measure, not making fire fighting layout, otherwise the fire hidden trouble of man-made ingredient is much more, fatalness of nature ingredient exits in the mean time.On the fact, for the all kinds fire hidden trouble in Dan Jia village, we bring forward fireproofing countermeasure correspond to these trouble: plot out fireproofing subarea; set evacuation mark; collocate fire extinguisher adapt to ancient building; install self-motion alarm system, in the same time, build integrated fire fighting water supply system which including sopping pond, pump room, perch water tank, high pressure service pipes and hydrant. These fireproofing countermeasure are easy to put in practice and they are economy.The study to fireproofing countermeasure of Dan Jia village is departed in two administrative levels: first, make the building colony as an integer thing; the second is the study for one building in the village. The relationship between the two administrative levels is from whole to one and the relationship is compactness, they must be in the ancient village. I hope the study for Dan Jia village will be benefit to fireproofing working.
