| Rapidly development of urban mass transit brings new revolution to the passenger revolution, which is considered as the direction for urban traffic. Studying on the urban mass transit operating theory plays an important part in urban mass transit designing, such as rationalizing line and equipment, making full use of the line and equipment and optimizing train operating planning.Based on the theory and practice of urban mass transit operating at home and aboard, this paper makes deeply research on organization of the radiation in ring-radio shaped urban mass transit.Urban mass transit of different structure has different characteristic. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the impact that the structure brings when studying on the organization of urban mass transit. The paper also summarizes to the passenger volume's characteristic of radiation in ring-radio urban mass transit and its demand to organization through analyzing the structure characteristic,scale characteristic and traffic characteristic of ring-radio shaped urban mass transit.Vehicle type is the basis of the organization for urban mass transit. At present, most of methods of choosing vehicle type for urban mass transit are qualitative. This paper combined the qualitative methods with quantitative methods by using a model named AHP-fuzzy comprehensive judgment, and the author proves its validity in the instant.This paper proposes "large and small routing mode fitting into one another" program and "Express/Slow Train" program according to the characteristics of ring-radio urban mass transit. The paper also gives out the proportion of large and small routes and train stop model. Large and small routing mode and Express/Slow train program are proved useful to meet the demand for passenger volume and reduce the cost.The author applys the models and methods above to the organization of line 1 in chengdu metro. The result proves that the methods and models in this paper are useful to a certain extent.
