With the acceleration of the pace of China's high speed railway construction, the quality of rail welding is desired to be more and more high. The mini-type digital controlled gas pressure welding are widely used, because of its low costs, good performance of joints, light weight components, small size and flexible operation. But the components of the equipment need to be dismantled and moved artificially, and assembled when moved to new on sides, which costs great labour intensity, less efficient of operations, and easy to cause damage or problem. To overcome the existing problems and increase the function of normalizing for improving and upgrading the existing equipments, assembling and transporting components will be one of the direction of development of the modern welding equipment. Therefore, the research of new types of digital controlled gas pressure welding engineering vehicle have great significance and practical value for improving the level of China's modernization of rail welding .Based on the analysis of domestic and overseas pressure welding technology and equipment, according to the regulations of operation technics of rail welding, using material engineering and modern control engineering technology, to integrate the welding and normalizing processes, a new type of container gas pressure welding truck blue print is designed from systems engineering perspective in this paper. Moreover, by analyzing the existing deficiencies of control precision and functions of linkage and other swing mechanism in existing equipment, put hardware and software designing blue print of a new type of hydraulic swing system forward. It realizes flexible control with the frequency and swing changing stepless .The results show that the equipment will be transfer more convenient and efficient with container gas pressure welding engineering vehicle. In the new hydraulic swing mechanism system, the scope of swing changing stepless realized from 15mm to 100mm , swing control precision is 6.0% , the frequency is able to change from 15times per minute to 200 times per minute in 40 swing, and its error less, reaction quick, has a good stability, which can satisfy the requirements of welding and normalizing multi-function. It improved the labour intensity of workers operation and welding efficiency and has a certain practical value.
