Design And Research Of The Shipping Situation Showing & Plotting System

With the development of the shipbuilding cause and ocean transportation cause in our country, the shipping situation showing & plotting system is developed on the base of course path plotter in our university, by expanding its functional with the modern electronic technique.The shipping situation showing & plotting system is an instrument that integrates and handles many navigation sensors information. It has two parts: the situation displaying system and the plotter instrument, By means of the organic combination of two parts, it provided the fine displaying information and the dynamic environment to ship operation personnel.Firstly, the structure and the function of shipping situation plotter are analysed and designed in the paper. According to the work environment, VxWorks operating system is used to its software terrace. In order to raise real time and reliability of system, CAN bus communication technology replaces RS-422 serial communication.Secondly, the improvement of ship plotter instrument is introduced in this thesis. To raise the precision, it is formerly accomplishing by way of improvement precision of stepper motor and optimization transmission structure, but the position feedback device is used to solve such issue now. It has detailedly introduced the principle of electromagnetic induction fixing position, and has given out the method of realizing negative feedback system in this paper.Finally, the realization of the ship situation map is the important and main job, which composes two pivotal components of platform: the memory of situation map and the method of situation showing. They are researched detailedly. At the same time the hardware and the function are entirely specified.
