Load forecasting plays an important role in the production and operation of the power system, knowing load variable laws and choosing suitable load forecasting model was the key to improving load forecasting precision.Middle-term load forecasting theory and its application was studied in this paper. At first, the purpose, significance of load forecasting, domestic and international developments and trends of research were reviewed briefly; then it detailed introduced the classification of load forecasting, methods and characteristics load forecasting, applicable scope of various forecasting methods, main factors of influence load forecasting, etc; moreover, it went on systematic research the load forecasting of local power system of Panjin District.The paper hope got a power load forecasting situation in Middle-term on the power load forecast theory in view of Panjin the application. Has analyzed the Panjin area load characteristic and the historical situation; through uses traditional of analytical mathematics model of the method establishment carry on estimate analysis, through error margin analytical adopt gray system theories to carry on behind analysis, has been synthesized different method more analytical, establish the superior estimate model, Should used for predicting of panjin area's metaphase electric power burdenThis topic main goal is the utilization different method realization to the Panjin area Middle-term power load forecast analysis, in order to provides this local load development condition and the level for the correlation department, simultaneously determined each power supply region, in each plan time interval for with the electric quantity, for uses electricity the biggest load and the local always load level of development, determined each plan time interval uses electricity the load constitution.
