As a kind of typical order-driven enterprise, Mould enterprises have to rapidlyrespond to markets change, complete customers orders on time. However, most ofmould enterprises in china only have small or middle scale, without all machineriesand equipments manufacturing any mould, which request to break barriers and shareresources among enterprises. So, the mould enterprises can complete the orders ontime and make fully use of resources. At last, the enterprises profit can be increased.To achieve the above objective, Mould Virtual Enterprise (MVE) based onManufacturing Grid (MG) was introduced. VE is a form of enterprise building onInternet, which facing application and organize enterprise according to the specificapplication. But under existing conditions, it was very difficulty to organize andrestructure a mould VE. Reliable and effective management of the enterprise resourcewas also difficulty. Efficient Resource scheduling under VE environment can not beimplemented effectively.To improve efficiency of organization and operation in Virtual Enterprises (VE),grid technology was introduced. The application-oriented framework for VE wasconstructed based on manufacturing grid. Distributed scheduling strategy wasproposed, which was centered on AHP. Main contents including:1. Grid's fundamental conception and the relative theories of grid technology arediscussed explicitly. Firstly, the paper points that grid technology is a growinginformation technology, and it aims to build the virtual organization, resource sharingand collaborative working environment. It can eliminate the information and resourcelonely Island. Secondly, the applications of grid technology and grid computing inmanufacturing are introduced.2. Mould VE structure facing application was created based on MG technology,and based on which the whole frame of VE was created.VE organization and resourcescheduling problem was researched in this frame. 3. Virtual Enterprise manufacturing resource scheduling was divided two phases:distributed scheduling and local scheduling. Distributed resource scheduling based onAHP was focused on.
