Along with the fast development of modern information technology, each kind of advanced manufacturing technology and technique emerges one after another incessantly. As a member of large-scale manufacturing, shipbuilding industry was facing an unprecedented opportunity for development. Manufacturing system theory and modern shipbuilding technology agree that the agile manufacturing is the future of advanced ship construction mode. So the domestic and foreign shipbuilding transforms from the integrated manufacture to the agile process of manufacture.On the basis of agile shipbuilding's characteristics and shipbuilding present situation in the domestic and foreign, this article introduces the grid technology, in makes in the grid foundation to establish the virtual Enterprise construction of agile shipbuilding. It introduces the shipyard, the customer, the supplier and the partner to ships' design and construction process, and realizes the shipbuilding agilely through alliance member between effective cooperation .VE is a form of enterprise building on Internet, which facing application and organizes enterprise according to the specific application. But under existing condition, it was difficulty to organize and restructure shipbuilding VE. Reliable and effective management of the enterprise resource was also difficulty. Efficient resource scheduling under VE environment can not be implemented effectively.Therefore, this paper introduced the grid theory and technology, ship construction under the organization framework of VE, operating mode and the key technologies during the study. The main research contents are as follows:1. It analyzed and proposed the ships agile manufacture's importance, and it has introduced the contents of VE and grid technology. And it introduced related content of the manufacture grid; namely the grid technology in the manufacture domain's application.2. The paper analyzed the reasons of agile shipbuilding and the introduction of grid in the present shipbuilding mode. We give multi-view grid architecture under the agile shipbuilding and based on this, agile shipbuilding VE and manufacturing systems are built. Finally, the grid-based agile shipbuilding mode framework and the key technologies involved are introduced.3. In front of the establishment of agile shipbuilding, the task management and resource scheduling are two key techniques in detail. Firstly, the task management process of MG is described to construct the task management model in MG, the key technologies for task management process on the in-depth study; Secondly, resource modeling and packaging under MG environment are introduced ; the resource evaluation system and the multi-objective optimization model are established. The resource scheduling process and strategies for agile Shipbuilding has been studied.4. Finally combining resource scheduling characteristics of shipbuilding under the grid environment and ant colony algorithm, we realized agile shipbuilding process resource scheduling, and through a specific numerical example, it proved the feasibility that resource scheduling with an ant colony algorithm (MACO).
