Test-equipment is essential for the testing of products' quality and performance. A"DIY" test-equipment costs less than a purchased one, and can also save money during maintenance process. To find out if a motor reach its requirements, a test-equipment for Series-wound Motor mainly tests its corresponding torque and speed under different loads.This essay will discuss Series-wound Motor mainly in two parts, namely hardware and software.Hardware chapter consists of below sections:1. Introduce how Series-wound motor runs and adjusts its speed, and the integrated structure of the test-equipment, and a brief introduction of its torque/speed sensor and magnet brake.2. Speed adjustment controller's hardware structure, principle and controlling debug of Series-wound motor, and an introduction of Series-wound Motor's speed/turning controlling circuit.3. The hardware composing of ARM7 system main control PCB, and focus on USB interface circuit.4. Sensor signal interface circuit.5. The formation of touch-screen system and its interface circuit.Software chapter focuses on each part's application and signal processing program, which include:1. The application of integrate development software ADS in ARM system.2. The modification of ARM initializers.3. The hardware program and debugging of USB interface circuit.4. The driver of touch-screen system.5. Poleless speed adjustment and motor turning's controlling program. 6. Sensor signal's processing.To conclude, integrate debugging will be performed on the test-equipment, and a summary about this project's cost, its remaining problems and the possibility of improvements, will be made.Power-testing equipment is tending to be lower cost and smaller in size. As the widespread application of built-in formation, many types of portable power-testing equipment emerge, and as their portability and utility improved, productivity is increased indirectly.
