Study Of Rural Landscape Planning And Design Of Urban Fringe Area

In recent years, in both developed and developing countries, the urbanization process is in the ascendant. As urban-rural fringe, the landscape ecology issues and ecological security issues of urban fringe area are very prominent. So the research of urban fringe area becomes the "focus" of academic research. With the accelerated urbanization process, rural landscape of urban fringe area has been facing many problems; its reasonable planning and design are the far-reaching and concerned reality issues in the urbanization process, as well as today's hot issues of scholars study.This paper is very on the basis of the study of urban fringe area and urban fringe area rural landscape by predecessors. Through analyzing the connotation, formation mechanism, characters and functions of urban fringe area, and the concept, landscape elements, features, functions, existing problems of the urban fringe area's rural landscape, finally, further sum up planning principles and methods of urban fringe area rural landscape. Then theory with practice, the landscape planning case of Chengdu XingfuMeilin is worked out. The full text consists four parts:The first part is prolegomenon. Since then, the landscape issues which are lead by accelerated urbanization process have been list. Finally, addressing these issues, urban fringe area rural landscape planning principles and methods area are summed up.The fourth part expounds Chengdu XingfuMeilin landscape planning and design. First, it introduces the basic status of project area, and then bases on planning background to determine planning concepts and theme. Second, the planning principles and design methods are set down. Finally, it presents the planning and design of landscape functional layout, landscape nodes, landscape pieces, landscape footpath and other matching facilities.
