Photo-reconnaissance satellites for area targets survey is an application pattern for long-term and periodic monitoring and gathering images of the area targets by the satellites-based remote sensor.The satellite scheduling problem for area targets survey is a brand new problem to people at present. The satellite scheduling problem for area targets survey is to allocate Photo-reconnaissance satellite and satellites-based remote sensor optimally according to the user's requirements and the constraints of satellite and sensor to make imaging schedules for satellite and mostly to satisfy user's requirements by the limited resources. Based on the analysis of the principle, organizing process as well as requirements' characteristics of this problem, This thesis studies the division method of the area targets, models the scheduling problem, and solves the problem. At last, a photo-reconnaissance satellite scheduling system for area targets survey is developed.Firstly, this thesis analyses the requirements character and the characteristics of the photo-reconnaissance satellite for area targets survey. Especially, the connections of the long-term planning, the short-term planning and the daily scheduling are expatiated.Secondly, this thesis provides a constructing method of theWRS (world reference system), provides the method of choosing candidate scenes which cover the area targets, and gives the meaning to get the time windows and the priority of candidate scenes.Thirdly, this thesis models the daily scheduling problem. In order to solve the model, this thesis puts forward greedy search with task grouping. The example displays the algorithm's validity.Finally, this thesis designs and realizes the system of scheduling photo-reconnaissance satellites for area targets survey. In addition this thesis gives an example and solves it by the system. The results of the actual example verify the validity of the proposed scenes constructing method, scheduling modeling method and algorithm.
