The Mega structure is a new structural system shear resistant structures ofsuper high-rise building. As a Mega structure has characteristics of great whole,clear-cut transmitting mechanism, flexible using space, economical buildingmaterials, Because of its efficiency, flexibility and economization, Megastructure has become one of the most promising structure systems for tallbuildings.At present there are some papers on static and dynamic analysis of Megastructure system, but all of these are based on the FEM theory that has too manyunknown numbers. This paper studied the static, dynamic problems of megastructure by QR-method, which can reduce computation work. To reduceunknown numbers, the study on the Mega structure in this paper is focused onthe following aspects:First, a new computational form on static and dynamic analysis of Megastructure system was set up by QR-method;Second, procedures were developed in C anguage to calculate the examples ofthis paper; Third, Some examples were Calculated and compared with the results of ansysfinite element method, then some useful conclusions were drawn;The author wrote a corresponding Computation programs by C based onQR theory, and calculated some examples and compared with finite elementmethod. The results showed that QR-method is an economical and effectivecomputational method., the paper summarizes research work, draws someconclusions. This paper is valuable not only in theory but also in practice.
