Nowadays, the whole globe is facing the problems of energy crisis and air pollution. These problems propel us to consider the development of the future cars. Having the benefits of both electric vehicle(EV) and traditional internal combustion vehicle, Hybrid Electric Vehicle(HEV) becomes the focus of vehicle research and development. In order to reduce the oil consumption and exhaust discharges, a lot of countries has taken very many measures about the automobile and the engine. Among them, optimizing the power-drive system is a better way. The power performance, fuel economy and exhaust quality of an auto, to a large extent, depends on the function and the driving type and the parameters of the engine, as well as the reasonably matching degree of the driving system. The transmission system plays an important role in vehicle running and performance test. So to build the reasonable and correct components models and research on the advanced control strategy are meaningful to both power distribution and components selecting for HEV.The article introduced that:1. The control strategy of hybrid electric vehicle by power flow distribution, introduced the SHEV control strategy, the PHEV control strategy, the PSHEV control strategy and the compound control strategy.2.The cultch and Automated Mechanical Transmission models are then established on the MATLAB/SIMULINK platform.3. Analyzes the characteristics of Gear-shifting for EQ6110 bus.4.The overall system is simulated and analyzed in ADVISOR.The fuel consumption of bus with the double parameters gear shifting rules and the single parameter gear-shifting rules are utilized in the EQ6110 system,Obtains the power and the efficient curves.
