The axial force has been a very important subject in Canned Motor Pump(CMP) field, which has great effect on safe and reliable operation,so the subject is the key of the research. When axial force is too big,the bearing life reduces so rapidly that CMP can not run normally. The practice of application also shows that the axial force has become the pivotal technology of larger scale. Therefore, it is important to study the axial force for the development of CMP, and it has great theoretical and applied values. The main research contents and results of this paper are outlined as following:1. The actuality and developing tendency of CMP are summarized, especially complete introduction on new technology application is provided, the great significance of studying axial force of CMP is stated, the structures, benefits, principle and circulate modes of CMP are introduced briefly. The forming mechanism and influence factor of axial force are analyzed, the traditional theories assumption is adopted for axial force calculation, the formula derivation of CMP axial force is described.2. The arithmetic of circulation capacity and the design of circulating loop are introduced. The main resistance components are simplified reasonably, the basic calculation model is built up, the circulating loop of conventional and evaporable type are calculated, the computational expression of circulating capacity and pressure drop are deduced.3. The balance mechanism and principle of traditional types are deeply analyzed. The calculative formulas of counterbalance are introduced. The balance principle of automatic balance device is stated, the testing equipment of axial force is introduced briefly.4. The calculation and balance of axial force is absolutely necessarily in the design of CME Conventional manual calculation cannot meet the demands very well in precision and efficiency. Visual C++, MFC and ObjectARX are utilized to the secondary development. The design conception, function modules and flow of program are recounted, the codes are compiled and debugged by myself according to principles available,the computational program for axial force of CMP has been developed for the first time, it is compatible with the supporting software, program's code also can be expanded and transplanted.5. The actual examples are analyzed by using the program, comparing the values of calculation with that of experiment, the relative errors are within engineering permissible error range, the results show that this program is well done and practical, the precision and efficiency of calculation are improved greatly, it is proved that the program has the value of engineering application.
