| With the development of our country city traffic and improvement of urbanization level, the road traffic flow gradually increase especially increasing of heavy vehicle and useless of high-pressure tyre. The earlier rut breakdown has become one of the main disease in asphalt pavement .It is one of important problem that how to design comprehensive performance, based on anti-rutting ability and improve resisting water stability,the low temperature anti-cracking of asphalt material , to adapt especial climate condition and traffic characteristic urban intersection in Nanjing.In view of a large number of domestic and foreign documents concerning this subject and the climate and transportation characteristic of road intersection, the paper selected AC-13C and SMA-13 dense-graded aggregate, blinder adopted matrix asphalt and SBS modified asphalt ,making AC-13C common bituminous mixture,AC-13C modified bituminous mixture,SMA-13 common bituminous mixture and SMA-13 modified bituminous mixture. The high temperature stability,cutting-resistance in low temperature,water stability ,unconfined compressive strength and cleavage strength of four mixtures are invested by laboratory test. The paper studied four bituminous mixture parameter such as Marshall stability ,the rut dynamic stability of asphalt mixture, the Marshall stability of asphalt mixture, the freeze-thaw split strength, the stiff modulus, compression creep stiffness modulus and bend strain energy density. The bituminous mixture pavement performance have been studied experimental overall. The paper grope for kinds of bituminous mixtures improvement to bituminous pavement technology function and put forward to the optimal composition design of pavement's asphalt mixture at road intersection up-layer in Nanjing.Based on the result of the experiment analysis, the optimal composition design of asphalt mixture pavement at road intersection in Nanjing was put forward. And the research conclusion can provide reference on the researching extension and application at road intersections in Nanjing. |
