Studies On Planting Design Of Urban Wetland Park In Nanjing

Plants, as an important element of urban wetland park, not only have multiple ecological functions, are also of vital significance to the landscape. Research on the design of urban wetland park is to create a reasonable plan and give full play to their important ecological functions. Nanjing is building Muyan Riverside Wetland Park to represent this popular will. Taking this as an example, my study investigates the property of urban wetland park and the planting design.Through project practice and field investigations, we come to a set of theories and develop the technique of scene design. We sincerely hope that this can be served as reference for the future construction of the urban wetland park in Nanjing and Jiangsu Province. The main results were summarized as follows.First, through the investigation of the concepts and the research development of urban wetland park and planting design, we proposed our research methods and main topic.Second, through the field investigation and the analysis of some information, we make a detail analysis of existing wetland resources and the development of planting design in urban wetland park in Nanjing.Third, using plant ecology as a guide, we adopt sampling methods during the investigation of Nanjing wetland's vegetation types, community succession and the main components. Adhere to the principle of diversity and native plants, with the use of algorithms and associated frequency data, we screened suitable plant material in the urban wetland park. Also, we construct the model of urban wetland park in Nanjing under the guidance of ecology and succession.Fourth, taking Nanjing Muyan Riverside Park as an example, we investigate the methods of planting design in the urban wetland.The planting design of urban wetland park is the scene design on the basis of whole management. Based on the analysis of planting design in Muyan Riverside Park, the subordinated requirements, the prominent geographical features, complemented by the artistic creation, we use relevant principles of ecology to analyze the landscape pattern, to manage the scene district of plants, and to construct a system of landscape plants. Through traditional methods of plant cultivation and modern design concept of integration, we create a "natural style" but "higher than natural" natural wetland landscape from many aspects, such as space and artistic management. With detail design of flower border, we proposed the property of Muyan Riverside Park planting design.
