With the development and interpenetration of microelectronics, intelligence technique, bus technique, communication, robot technique etc engineering machinery is at a whole new integrated, intelligent, network ages. As a new hydraulic transmission technology, electro-hydraulic proportional control thinking is: some functions of hydraulic system are integrated to electro-hydraulic proportional controller, the construct of hydraulic system is sampled, and hence the stability and security of hydraulic system are improved. The theory research and technology development of electro-hydraulic proportional control will be the development direction of engineering machinery, and it will become another hotspot of hydraulic industry and control engineering.Combined with a significant project of Hunan province in 2004, the application and research of electro-hydraulic proportional control system base on engineering machinery has been put forword. Firstly, the paper has introduced the actuality of engineering machinery, and analyzed the status of electro-hydraulic proportional control technique in engineering machinery. Secondly, it has described the develop status and current of electro-hydraulic proportional control technique, the realization has also been mentioned. According to the demands of electro-hydraulic proportional control system in engineering machinery, the paper gives a solution base on an embedded system of ARM7 andμC/OS-Ⅱ, and selects ARM microprocessor and operating system. It designs the hardware system based on the LPC2292, and implements successfully the transplantation ofμC/OS-Ⅱon the LPC2292, compiles the API based onμC/OS-Ⅱand user application program. In the paper, the tasks are properly compartmentalized and a multitask scheme based on dispatching priority is adopted to solve the disadvantage of the Foreground/Background System. Due to the uncertainty, non-linear, coupling between variables of the controlled object, the FAPID algorithms is put forward.The experiment of central controller states that embedded electro-hydraulic proportional control system described in the paper has reached the design demand with the advantage of stability, security and easy to handle. It also states the achievements of the research have validity and practicability.
