Industrial measuring means that industrial objects coordinates are precisely surveyed with new technologies and methods, which uses electronic theodolite, total station, digital camera, laser tracker, etc. Theodolite industrial system is a spatial angle intersection system, which has been made up of many electronic theodolites. Theodolite industrial system is widely used because it has many merits such as highly precision, no touch, fine performance, convenient operation, etc.The electronic theodolite systems which are widely used in china are mainly imported from overseas, but they are expensive. The single measurement and building blocks type industrial measuring system is studied. The system is made up of angle sensor, computer, standard ruler, bubble tube, steady tripod, etc. The thesis involves the aspects as following:1. Firstly, the origin, development and present situation of the electronic theodolite system are summed and anlyzied. Then the methods of advanced research and its significance in mangy ways are proposed.2. According to makeup and orientation method of the system, the theodolite industrial system is divided into three types such as single apparatus type, double apparatuses type and multi apparatuses type. Three types are all studied , especially single apparatus type.3. The computing method of theodolite industrial measuring system is studied. Orientation method, computing method of station and computing method of target are mainly studied. Two computing methods of station are deduced and analyzed, which include 3D network and bundle adjustment. Two computing methods of target are also deduced and compared.4. Orienting and measuring methods of single type theodolite industrial measuring system are detailly studied. Precision of the methods are also deduced. Measuring precision of targets are computed and accurately analyzed. 5. The paper designs quasi-2D control field and 3D control field, and studies how to measure the control fields with single type industrial measuring system. The best position of station is designed according to measurement precision of stations and targets. The foundation method of digital distortion model is introduced with quasi-2D control field.
