Analysis on the infection factors and characteristic of the railway passengers' train choosing behavior is the precondition to research the railway passenger flow assignment, and also has very important meaning for establishing and optimizing the passenger trains' operation plan, for raising the quality and competition ability of the railway passenger transport, for marketing strategies of the railway passenger transport. The paper aims to analyze the railway passengers' train choosing behavior, which is described with mathematical model. based on this, the paper has a primary discuss on the problems about the railway passenger flow assignment.In the first chapter, the background of the research is dissertated firstly, then the actuality of the related issue is analyzed. Finally the important meaning of the research and the main content and methods in the paper are put forward. The second chapter tends to analyze the railway passengers' train choosing behavior with the basic theory about generalized traffic behavior. Based on the introduction of the generalized traffic behavior theory and the analysis on the factors in affecting the generalized traffic mode choosing behavior, combined with the characteristic of the railway passenger transport, the structure of the railway passenger flow and the variety of the passenger trains are described. The paper sorts the factors affecting the railway passengers' train choosing behavior into subjective,objective and stochastic factors. a chart is designed to show the relationship between traveling cost,spending time and comfort condition, which points out the common rules when railway passengers choose different trains. Finally the above is proved by actual travel data of railway passengers. Based on the theory about the Analytic Hierarchy Process, the third chapter sets up a hiberarchy model on the individual passenger's train choosing behavior, which gives a method to calculate the importance of each train in affecting the passengers' choosing behavior. Finally it's proved reasonable and the calculating result can reflect the characteristic of the railway passengers' train choosing behavior relevantly by an example. In the fourth chapter, the paper firstly has a discuss on the calculating method of the generalized traveling cost, then sets up a Logit model based on the description of the passengers' utility for calculating the individual passenger's train choosing probability. After an example is present, the paper analyses the difference between the two methods referred in chapter three an four. The fifth chapter firstly has an analysis on the exiting traffic assignment method, then combined with the characteristic of the railway passengers' train choosing behavior and the railway passenger transport organization, sets up a stochastic user equilibrium assignment model under the condition of justle on a railway network. Finally the algorithm and an example is present. The work done in the paper is helpful to the optimizing of the train operation plan and the daily organization work of the railway passenger transport.
