Clustering Analytical Method Of Architectural Color Based On Characteristics Extraction

From of old, color is closely linked with the architectural history of human race. By the end of last century, with the spiritual demand of living cities'history and culture environment have exposed all over the word. People showed solicitude for gradually and takes the key subjects being the color carrier seriously gradually with the "city". And it also leaded into the focal research on color of architecture and urban planning domains. At the same time, the impact of new technical revolution brought the computer assistance method into architecture and urban planning domains in which it was ignored. There is more expert scholar getting involved in just now until the end of last century in China at present, especially those researches which are done by computer assistance method are actually lacking. It becomes the blank spot which urgently waits to be break through.This paper commenced from macroscopic aspects, taking the systems science theory as instruction, synthetically utilizing the multi-knowledge, using the computer assistance analysis method, has done digitized research on color of buildings. In the research, it makes Fuzzy Cluster analysis and theoretic of building color together and works out a kind of digital analytical method for architecture which is based on Fuzzy Cluster analysis. The priority studying has two aspect mainly: first is by extracting the thinking being able to have an effect to embody the characteristic building a color on the object of study programming; Two is that the color characteristic being unlike a marriage partner is carried out analyzing comparison, realizes and the result simulating person eye sense organ experience blurred get types. In order to quantify the results, it used mathematical analysis software MATLAB 7.0 as a professional manner, taking various color types as research materials by applying its powerful image processing and statistical analysis functions, and finally got results of all the color types'data.The innovation point of this paper is using the knowledge of many subjects, bringing in advantaged Fuzzy Cluster analysis to do digital research on color types and carry out quantitative analysis by dint of software tools and computer-aided method. It made conclusions more convincing, and created a new kind of research methods and results on architectural color analysis, which were confirmed by examples. It is showed that the innovative research methods and results of the study are useful in practice. It takes the primary discussing on the digital way of the color research. The results could be a preliminary model for this topic.Many unit buildings constitute the collectivity, and many collectivities build up the whole city. Buildings without doubt become the most important character of urban physiognomy. Although the color of unit building could not exist without urban color surroundings, it still holding the balance of building color surroundings. It is not ignore the essentiality of urban color surroundings by emphasizing color of unit building, but to make the urban color system more particular and integrate. Although this paper only does primary digital analysis on unit buildings, it still has action on researching of magnanimity digital message about urban color, and also can be the basic of using digital analysis method to deal with color of collectivity even color of city.
