With Multi-locomotive, it will improve the performance of traction and cut down the employee without changing anything of the locomotive , and it will improve the benefit and the competition ability of the Railway Department by this way. So, these years, plenty of fixed Multi-locomotives were used, not only electric locomotives but also internal-combustion engine locomotives, like as SS3B, SS4GAI, and DF11G etc. The thesis was generated from the Wireless Multi-locomotive synchronic operation and control system for Locomotive Maintenance of Chendu. This paper focuses on "SS3B" locomotive and designs a Wireless Multi-locomotive system instead of the old Wire Multi-locomotive system, based on Field bus, for the current problems in Multi-locomotive.The thesis was written from the research process of Wireless Multi-locomotive synchronic operation and control system. At first, the thesis outlines the meaning of the Wireless Multi-locomotive synchronic operation and control system, discuses the history & the actuality of the Multi-locomotive System. It discusses solution for Wireless communication minutely, It penetrates into the structure of the whole function and work elements of module. Analyzes all of the signals needed to collect on the SS3B and the meaning to acquire them, Constructs a foundation for the System. The system introduces modularization design method, realize function of date acquisition,Wireless communication,output control, and makes different modules into a whole, based on Can bus. Finally, the scheme of system hardware and software are given, and it studies the reliability and interference.The paper also sums up the production during doing a series of tests about the System, and points out the shortage at the same time. The chapter gives some advices and views the foreground of the System finally.
