The construction of box girder hoisting in Sutong Bridge is taken as engineering background in this thesis, and general finite element software ANSYS is used to set up the space analysis model of temporary bracket of pier 1 and temporary pier 2 which were brought to bear reasonable boundary condition by theoretic analysis. Internal force analysis and stability calculation were done for solving the problem which construction company cared for. Finding the worst case probable and checking temporary structures. The main content is as follows:1. Finding that mechanical analysis of temporary structure is necessary through analyzing some examples of structure falling and summarizing the reasons.2. There are two models. One is to get pier and bracket together, and the other is to get pile, pile cap, pier and bracket together. Find out that the pile, pile cap, pier and bracket model is the most reasonable after analyzing and comparing the two models with different boundary connection. According to the results, check intensity, stiffness and the stability of the temporary structure using intensity theory. The results show that the intensity, stiffness and stability of the temporary structure can satisfy the need of the box girder hoisting in SuTong Bridge construction.3. Comparing the results of the first and the second kind stability analysis, it proves that there are differences in engineering analysis. Advise to set up the space analysis model and treat problems as the second stability analysis. Suggest adopting increment method to calculate material nonlinearity and adopting iterated method to calculate geometric nonlinearity. 4. In the case of wind load calculation, consider it as static load, but it has angle which change between negative 10 degrees to positive 10 degrees. The wind attacking angle was introduced, and horizontal and vertical effect of the wind load were considered to make the wind load approache the real load furtherly.
