The giant magnetostrictive material is a new functional material, which has high magnetostriction, which has high response velocity, high energy density, big output force. Because of the choiceness properties of the GMM, many researchers of the world countries now have taken part in studying it. Also its corresponding theory and applications studies are being researched.This paper takes a detailed analysis and research on the characteristics of GMM and designs a structure with GMA and micropump together. Based on static and dynamic theoretical analysis on electrical-mechanical convertor of GMA,dynamic simulation model is established the result of which shows high-speed response and larger force output.Because of this many advantages of GMA,in order to improve the dynamic characteristics,this paper puts forward the design concept of a new high-frequency micro pump and designs its structure and parameters. Math model and simulation model are established based on its theoretical analysis at the same time. Parameter design and simulation study on the GMA electrical-mechanical convertor and high-frequency micro pump are carried out based on a set of original data, the result of which shows that the high-frequency micro pump has the characteristics of high frequency response,high precision and small vibration. At the meantime,the math model of the process of the absorption and ejection of the pump oil is founded based on the method of computational fluid dynamics to simulate the distribution rules of velocity and pressure in the pump.
