The suspension system is one of the important devices of automobile. It has great effect on vehicle's usage performances, such as ride quality, handling stability and passing ability.Nowadays, the common suspension composing of spring and absorber has utilization on a large scale. With a air suspension system, enhancing ride quality and handling simultaneously has limitations if the vehicle ride at a high speed in various road conditions, therefore, in order to overcome the limitations, in rent years, the air suspension is a new approach to improve the suspension's performance. It is able to provide optimal feedback control according to various road profile and actual condition of riding to maintain optimal riding indexes.This article takes the bus air suspension as the research object, introduced the air suspension development history, the system constitution as well as the principle of work. And carry on the modelling to it under the platform in UG, established the physical model of air suspension system, Using the CAD second developments technology, built the second developments platform of air suspension system, developed the UG software contact surface of air suspension system.Along with the development of highway and the enhancement of vehicle speed,the automobile smoothness appears more important day by day,it has become a main performance of the modern high speed and high efficiency automobile, also is an important performance index that the similar automobile capturing the superiority in the market competition.The automobile smooth quality not only affects passenger's comfortableness, the health condition and the normal work ability,but also affects the display of the automobile power and the service life of automobile spare part and so on. Based on the people to the automobile smoothness more and more high request, this article also will conduct the research to the automobile smooth running.In this thesis, both a kinetic model and a mathematical model of 1/2 bus of 4DOFs are built. The software MATLAB and its toolbox SIMULINK are used to build the smooth running simulation model,then carries on the parameter input to the simulation system, movement simulation system, then simulate and analyze the bus's ride comfort at the road surface ranked Grade B. Then we obtain the 4DOFs'accelerations'PSD and RMS, here, 4 DOFs respectively are front shaft,rear shaft,floor boards above the front shaft and rear shaft.And evaluate the vehicle's ride comfort,And proposed the method and the way of improving vehicles smooth running.Finally, this article has also carried on the summary and the forecast to the full text, proposed the question that needs to be solved in next step of work.
