Internet-based NC machine sharing is an important component of networkedmanufacturing, which can improve the utilization ratio of NC resource, integrate thedistributed NC tasks, and lower the gross cost of enterprises group, consequently hasdrawn the attention of enterprises. However, as the research is still primary, thecurrent module of sharing is mainly "First In First Out" (FIFO), which lowers theefficiency of sharing in a certain extent.In order to optimize the schedule of shared NC tasks, according to the feature ofclear structure and well readability of NC codes, this research employs the similaritytheory to analyze the similarity relevancy of NC codes to implement the automationof similarity relevancy analysis, and then improve the efficiency of Internet-basedsharing. This paper focuses on the followed three points in the view of similarityrelevancy:(1) Similarity theory-based analysis on relevancy characteristic of NC codesIn order to optimize the tasks group, the NC task is divided into several modulesaccording to the intrinsic property of NC code. The moduled task is regarded asmulti-level similarly system based on the similarity theory. And then, the similarityelements are composed of similarity factors that are extracted from the similarlysystem, the Analytic Hierarch Process is used for determined weights, extraction andcalculation in step-by-step. The final results named similarity are taken as themeasurement between the different similarity systems and the foundation of the tasksgrouping.(2) Study on similarity relevancy-based scheduling optimization of NC tasksThe similarity relevancy-based NC tasks scheduling model is presented, whichmain ideas are: according to the similarity and the due-constrain, the tasks with highersimilarity relevancy are grouped in priority. Based on the model, the hybridscheduling algorithm derived from the greed algorithm and tabu search is proposed,which implements the schedule automation, and consequently improves theInternet-based sharing efficiency of NC resource. (3) Development of Internet-based NC resources sharing management andoptimazation system.Based on the above theoretic analysis, this research constructs the functionsystem and practical appliance, and finally realizes the scheduling optimization ofInternet-based NC resource sharing.Finally, the results are concluded, and the future research is illuminated.
