Temple garden is one of the three Chinese classical gardens, which plays an important part in Chinese classical gardens history. With the society developing, temple garden not only acts as a place where human express their religious belief, but also as a famous traveling resort for public. Plant landscape is an important component part of temple garden construction, and plays an important media with which human express their religious belief and transfer the religious culture at the same time. The plant landscape in temple garden is quite different from other classical garden in choice, collection and construction of artistic conception of plant landscape. So doing research has very significant for construction of plant landscape to modern city and duration development of plant landscape to temple garden.With the site research of jinshan temple, ganlu temple, dinghui temple, zhulin temple, zhaoyin temple, longchang temple, jiuxiaowanfu palace, yuanfu temple, this paper gains the conclusion about the characteristics of plant landscape in these eight temple gardens. It is a stable plant community which is the determination of the protection and base of forming the well plant landscape. So this paper does the detailed research in quantity characteristics, collection technology, species diversity and comparability to different plant community of plant landscape. In terms of analysis the different data of plant landscape in these eight temples, this paper draw out the conclusion about the characteristics of plant community structure aspects in temple gardens in Zhenjiang city. The artistic conception of the plant landscape is the important part in the artistry structure of temple garden. This paper advances the conclusion of the method of express artistic conception of plant landscape from direct feeling, construction with poem and literary quotation, plant landscape and other structure aspects. Finally, presents the intergrated conclusion of the plant landscape, through building up the integrated evaluation model from ecology and aesthetics aspect with the layer analysis method, and divide the grade based on evaluation conclusion. The paper summarizes the characteristics and disadvantages of plant landscape of temple garden in Zhenjiang city. The evaluation shows that the integrated high evaluation is a harmony developing combine of ecology and aesthetics.
