Automobile company launch new models of car continuously since China automobile industry develop quickly. The door hinge of car is not noticed usually, but it is really important functional assemble for car.Some oversea companies deeply study the automobile hinge from structure,material,process etc. and bring forward high requirement on performance of strength,life,function of performances. But China automobile industry is still weak. Many automobile engineering are lack of technical standard. Automobile hinge also have the same situation. To improve the capability of developing product, ameliorate the existing product. We need to know more about performances of hinge.The thesis expatiate the requirements of compound door hinge with door check on the modern car with example of new developing product. Especially discuss the performances of strength, life and functions. To analyze the performances of door hinge, Research the test method of main performances, set up test plan and correlative test rules. Apply the theory of reliability, Analyze reliability of door hinge, proAt point of strength, 1)tensile test: it is safety requirement of automobile door hinge. The door hinge system cannot break with static lengthways loading or transverse loading. 2) Lowering strength. Verify the strength in Z direction. Study the distortion at the point of force application. Including the flexible and plastic. 3) Stability of gage pressure. Compare with initial position, the deviation of open angle after testing and deviation in Z direction.Apply the reliability theory to learn the life of hinge。According to the characteristic of most auto part submit to weibull distribution,Analyze and compare the bushes which will be affect the life of hinge .Work over the method to expedite the life test.Through the means of adding stress, If add 15KG, the accelerative coefficient is 2.04.Furthermore introduce function requirements: At 30% grade, the door should be retained in one detents and its test processWe can know the vital capability and test technique of automobile door hinge through the thesis.
