With the situation of energy and environment crisis, the energy conservation of air-conditioner has become the trend in development of the world, which is an important measure to improve the thermal environment and conserve energy. The energy consumption of residential building in hot summer and cold winter zone is high and the climate is bad, how to carry out the energy conservation reconstruction for the existing residential buildings and the energy conservation design for the new ones, optimize the indoor control parameters, and improve on the equipment of the air-conditioner in order to decrease the energy consumption of air-conditioner are quite significant to improve the living environment, save energy, provide valuable reference of building energy conservation design, and promote continuable development of people and environment.This paper used eQUEST software to analyze and optimize energy conservation strategies of envelope in hot summer and cold winter zone of china which included five strategies: exterior wall insulation, absorption coefficient of exterior wall, ratio of window to net wall, categories of glazing, and kinds of shading system, and then selected the best one of each strategy to accomplish a best way for envelope energy saving design, moreover analyzed the effect of each strategy on different direction rooms. It is shown that envelope shading has the most effect on the cooling energy consumption and wall insulation has the most effect on heating energy consumption. Generally speaking, envelope shading and wall insulation are emphases.The effects of mainly indoor control parameters included indoor air temperature, air speed and curtain styles on the energy consumption of air-conditioner through the test in summer and winter were analyzed. It is shown that automatic speed of air-conditioner, compared with the indoor air temperature of 24.8℃, the electric consumption is decreased by 19.1% when increase 1℃and decreased by 32.9% when increase 2℃, and outer curtain shows the better effect to decrease energy consumption in summer; high speed of air-conditioner, compared with the indoor air temperature of 20.5℃, the electric consumption is decreased by 20.6% when decrease 1℃and decreased by 34.1% when decrease 2℃, and inner curtain in cloudy day consumes less energy. At last, an improved system called cooling water (condensing water and tap water) cool the condenser of air-conditioner system is invented by calculating the condensing water because of the low efficiency of air-conditioner cooled by air and the dripping of condensing water, an additional water supplying is designed. It is shown that through the calculation that the energy consumption of air conditioner can decrease, refrigerating capacity and EER can increase.
