Concrete Hollow Block, a newly-developing building material, with a great variety of advantages like saving the consuming of space, energy, and well functions, has a widely implement prospect. However, the thermal cracks in Concrete Hollow Block Construction is badly restricted its development. Therefore, it is necessary to have a research on the thermal cracks problem in Concrete Hollow Block Building. Generally, the cracks are caused by lots of factors. Further research demonstrates that the temperature cracks in block construction are the most popular form of cracks.Based on "Construction Cracks Mechanism and Prevention Methods of Non-clay wall", a wall materials innovation and construction energy-saving scientific research project in Nanjing, The main research of this paper are concrete hollow block construction of the temperature, temperature stress and temperature deformation. Meanwhile, this thesis Analyze the main forms and causes of temperature cracks, and the effect of structural measures on the impact of temperature stress.Firstly, according to the research, we would find out the form and the locations of cracks in existing concrete hollow block construction, so that analyze the causes of the cracks.Secondly, through the research of various temperature spreading ways and the possible impact factors of the temperature distribution of concrete hollow block construction, we can found that the solar radiation have a great impact on the temperature distribution. According to the thermal conductivity Phenomenon of concrete hollow blocks construction, the paper summary the form of thermal conductivity and introduce the thermal differential equations.Compared with meteorological data and standard samples of Nanjing in recent years, annual temperature disparity is calculated. Meanwhile, through the Nanjing Meteorological data analysis, we can calculate the different directions of the wall and roofs' day temperature disparity. According to the Calculation Method of the combined temperature, the combined temperature of Concrete Hollow Block Construction in Nanjing Region will be calculated.According to a pilot building in the Nanjing Baguazhou region to establish a architectural models, With the combined temperature difference obtained from field tests, a lot of calculations have been done by finite element method (FEM), considering of different structural measures. construction displacement, stress and the relative displacement in a variety of structural measures can be compared and analyzed.
