Research And Application Of Management Information Interactive Technologies In Shop Floor Based On Embedded Terminal

The real-time capability of information interaction in manufacture enterprise shop floor is the key of implementing network manufacturing. Nowadays, information islands in shop floor are limiting the development of manufacture enterprise, and cause manufacture enterprise not to respond quickly in the diverse markets. It is necessary to get, analyse, store and transfer the real-time information in shop floor. That is to say: send the right information to the right system by the right way at the right time and return the right response. So the format and style of the transferring real-time information has become the key part of manufacturing informatization. This paper will take information interaction in shop floor in network manufacturing as its main clue, and research on the key technology of information interaction in shop floor.Firstly, this paper describes that shop floor is playing an important role in manufacturing informatization, analyses the reason of information islands and the characteristics of information flow and management information system in shop floor, finds out the problems in information interaction. In order to satisfy the need for the real-time information communication, the management information interactive model in shop floor based on embedded terminal is presented in this paper. This model will integrate lots of information interactive technologies to implement real-time information communication and resources sharing in shop floor.Secondly, the relative interactive technologies, used in this model, are studied intensively, on the aspects of structure, functions and principle. These technologies consist of man-machine interaction, information communction based on remote desktop protocol, XML, port-mapping based on embedded terminal and real-time information collection and processing. Their technology problems which need solution in application are analysed.Thirdly, based on the study of this model and its key technologies, C/S and B/S information interaction modes based on embedded terminal are implemented. So it is possible to integrate more information interactive technologies to this platform. The problem of information real-time interaction in manufacture enterprise is solved through the integration of the two modes.Finally, application instances are presented. These achievements were applied in the shop floor in an automobile manufacture enterprise. Productivity has been improved, manufacturing costs have been reduced and quick reaction to real-time information has been implemented.
