As the confluence area of information stream and material flow, manufacturing workshop use the existing terminal equipment to query, manage, store and release information, such as production status, material information and process drawings. However, almost of current workshop information terminal is based on PC or industrial PC, using wired network to realize communications. This terminal is very expensive and heavy, not convenient for workers to move and carry. These features restrict the application and the promotion of the information-interactive terminal. This paper presents a wireless information-interactive terminal used in manufacturing workshop for information manages. Via wireless network based on wi-Fi and 3G, the terminal can access heterogeneous cross-platform equipment. It is a light and flexible device, which can fully meet the needs of flexible operation, convenient movement, rapid processing, and can improve the bad situation of information interaction between shop floor and control layer, design level, intra-enterprise. This article focuses on the hardware design and implementation of wireless information-interactive terminal.This paper briefly analysis the relevant technology of information-interactive terminal firstly, then summarize exiting problems of the system and analyze the functional requirements of the wireless information-interactive terminal hardware platform. Lastly, presents a design of wireless information-interactive terminal used in manufacturing workshop.For the demand of the wireless information-interactive terminal, the papaer gives the detailed design to various functional modules of the hardware system.The design mainly include the Selection of CPU and peripheral devices, function module design, communication module and power management&distribution module.After that, the paper describes the project implementation of hardware, according to PCB signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility requirements. A PCB stack-up method, routing and layout strategy is proposed in the paper.Finally, the paper presents the debug and test method of the hardware, and achieves the desired purpose. System commissioning and test results show that the circuit can work in various functions to meet the functional requirements, stable operation and high reliability.
