Research On Motorcycle Expert System Based On Object-Oriented Technology

Expert system is a branch of artificial intelligence, which is most active and most impossible to be applied in prospect. Especially, the new generation of ES is produced via incorporating the Object-Oriented theory with expert system, which according with the human's ideational habit, which being apt to construct and maintain knowledge-base, at the same time, it can shorten the period of ES developing. While expert system is applied to the motorcycle intelligent design, it may preserve and make use of the experiential knowledge of the specialist, as well as integrate it with the domain knowledge of the motorcycle design, and therefore could enhance the designer's level improve the devising efficiency.First of all, After reviewing the achievements and current application status of expert systems, especially the production and application actuality of design-oriented expert systems, and expatiating the aim and the significance of the research work are introduced, as well as the main research subjects.In the next place, Having introduced the thoughts of object-oriented programming and analyzed some features of expert system, on the basis of this ,it points out that object-oriented programming is good for building an expert system. This paper introduced the motorcycle design ES with OOP technology .The main research of the article focused on the Construction of the expert system with design pattern of OOP, at the same time, some researches of reasoning mechanism. This paper will deeply analyze the characteristic of motorcycle total design knowledge, research knowledge acquirement and classification of total design knowledge, and especially research knowledge representation of motorcycle total design based on the characteristic and classification of knowledge, and build the knowledge base. So this paper will probe into some items showed as below: Design knowledge acquirement,Design knowledge representation,Build the knowledge base.Thirdly, this paper introduced characteristic of the motorcycle design knowledge and explained knowledge and classifying of knowledge in the ES, especially the data structure of knowledge and the method of uncertain knowledge about characteristic in mechanical design. This paper analyses and researches the operation principle, reasoning method, reasoning tactics and developing ways of expert system, studies the characteristic of motorcycle overall design and the current situations of motorcycle enterprises in our country, structures the reasoning mechanism of the motorcycle intelligent design expert system, actualized knowledge expression, knowledge obtain tool based and discursion model about and realizes the integrated reasoning based on case-based reasoning and rule-based reasoning.Finally, We select Visual C++6.0 as the developing tool through contrasting kinds of programming languages and expert system shells or expert system tools, and thinking of the OO character. This paper developed an practical system-Intelligent Expert System for Motorcycle Design. Users can make consultation with the system in Chinese. This system can complete selecting model, ascertaining parameter and layout as a whole. It is proved to be the proper way to develop product in shorting the develop cycle, and increasing the ability of independent product development.
