Study On Test Method For Fuel Consumption On Gas Automobile

As the traffic implement in modern society, while promoting economy development, automobile brings severe pollution to our environment relied on, at the same time, incurs the serious scarcity to petroleum resources. With the development of gas automobile and its detection, the fuel economy and its detecting method are focused greatly. Generally, as the important evaluation system of vehicle using economy, the fuel economy, that is to say, the engine fuel economy, is measured by the fuel consumption.In this thesis, the test method for fuel consumption on gas automobile is focused to study, a set of high-precision, good-applicability measurement system is exploited, and the measuring data from system is analyzed and validated. In detail, the following is that.First, the components and relative characteristics of NG and LPG is analyzed, CNG is confirmed to be the main object to study, the storage and supply characteristics of fuel on CNG vehicle is explained.Based on the measurement method of gas and its device internationally, contacted with fuel and gas automobile characteristics by themselves, Coriolis Mass Flowmeter is confirmed, and the mass measurement method for measuring gas flow is adopted, at the same time, other devices is considered to make certain, so that, the hardware design of the measurement system is achieved.Combined with the modern theory on communication control and some relative technology manuals, a suit of software on communication control between PC and system device based on Modbus serial communication protocol is exploited, and the window programme is brought to success in the interface of Visual Basic6.0,Windows XP.Finally, by on-board road test, the veracity and applicability of the measurement system while running are proved after calculating and analyzing, and some effect factors for test are put forward, result in the particular-solving measures of conquering or reducing those factors.
