In recent years, China's road construction develop rapidly. Highway construction requires a large amount of earth and stone. A lot of farmland and the mountain destructed by Earth and stone.In view of different regions, in light of the local situation, to find suitable replacements for these materials become an urgent task. Baoding regions are rich in soil and rock tailings.Shin soil and rock tailings can be used as road base and sub-base will not only bring enormous economic benefits, but also can bring in good returns to the environment.Based on Piedmont Highway to be built in Baoding, systematicly studied the nature of soil and gravel tailings. Research and domestic ,use slag cement to stability soil and gravel tailings. According to standardized test design ,choose a suitable mix.Conducted a series of laboratory tests to verify the shin soil of road performance.Against the grade of soil and gravel tailings do not meet the standard requirements appropriately,increasing the amount of cement,grading test ranges in excess of material application.Analysis of cement stabilized shin soil of 7 days age and 28 days age intensity growth. test the compression modulus and splitting strength to confirm the practical feasibility, and engineering design. Against gravel tailings base the weakness of activity use the two-ashes stabilized gravel tailings.Analysis of samples without lateral compression of sabotage.For cost-effectiveness analysis, comparing the and cement stabilized shin soil in the price of cement stabilized gravel tailings.Meanwhile analysis of the environmental benefits can be achieved.
