The tilt-rotor aircraft has standard aircraft cruise flight with vertical takeoff and landing and short takeoff and landing capabilites, it can be used in the air force and civil aviation.In this paper, the flight characteristic of tilt-rotor is studied and the force function of the rotors, wing and fuselage are established. In the Matlab/Simulik simulation environment a model used for flight simlulation is built, and the trim function and linmod function of the Matlab/Simulink software are used to XV-15 tilt-rotor aircraft. The result demonstrates the model built in the Matlab/Simulik is correct .On base of the research, some analysis work is done to an unmanned tilt-rotor aircraft so that we know much flight characteristic of the unmanned tilt rotor aircraft.Base on the characteristic of the unmanned tilt rotor aircraft, the attitude control system is designed with the inner/outer loop structure by using eigenstructure assignment.
