With the fast development of economy, the requirements of productiveefficiency, saving of cost as well as the performance of new type of material etcare greatly improved. At the same time, the requirements of experimentalequipments are also more refined. Recently the application of good performanceof rheometer is widely used. Thus the requirements of the controlling system ofrheometer are much higher. This paper focus on researching the controllingsystem of rheometer based on bus control which can meet the needs ofproductivity and scientific research.The controlling system mainly focuses on the reality of the physicaldetection of the material and the precise control of working environmentparameters of rheometer. Therefore the experiments, the analysis and the tests arecarried out.In the system, the working parameters of the material include thetemperature of the material, torque, stress and rotate speed etc which areprecisely measured in this paper. First of all, the on-line digital calibration skill isused in the measurement of temperature and stress in order to insure the precisionof the measurement; transducer is used in the control of rotate speed which hasintellective interface bringing flexible control. PID control and its complexarithmetic are used in the temperature control.In the paper, a control platform based on Filed Bus control is built. Thetypical three layer Bus control of distributed computer system is adopted. TheCAN Bus interface is used in the application layer and the control layer. The RS-485 bus is used between the control layer and the device layer. The whole systemis simple and reliable and with good real time.MSP430F149 which is the core to measure and deal with datum is used in every circuit unit. Meanwhile, IAR embedded program design platform is appliedand module program design methods which are characteristic of multitask andstrong real time are also used. The Modbus protocol is used to communicatebetween modules.By way of practical application, the whole system is reliable and everytechnical index is appraised by users...
