Field bus has a lot of advantages,such as openings,total digitalization,two-way and serial, nodal communication. With the wide application of field bus, fault diagnosis system platform based on field bus been widely applied in such a lot of fields as industrial control,automatic instrument and apparatus,intelligent weaponry. CAN-BUS will be the leader of fieldbus used in the local area network, it is recognized to be one of the most developmental fieldbus in the world in the future. At the same time, environment and energy device rise increasingly and makes hybrid electric vehicle(HEV) move towards to development, while accumulator and other energy device can not absolutely take place of internal-combustion engines, HEV is a good compromising solution to fuel economic and exhaust of the vehicle. So we design and realize a kind of fault diagnosis system platform for motor based on the CAN bus. The advantage of the system platform is high dependability,flexible system configuration,on-the-spot scheme that can be downloaded,reconfiguration operation mode, etc.With the research of CAN-BUS used in HEV in this paper, it is designed for the motor controller which had no CAN signal, in order to make it possible to communicate with the CAN-BUS used in the HEV.Based on input and output signals of the motor controlled, hardware is designed equipment with the use of DSP. And the TMS320C5402 chip is used together with its module circuit to process the controller's signals, and transmitter it to the CAN-BUS with the CAN device. The final product is a Printed Circuit Board(PCB). We used C and assemble language under DSP compiled environment, Realization of CAN bus Interface Based on DSP real-time control and SJA1000 controller, the CAN signal for the motor controller are carried out successfully. Referring to the SAE-J1939 and the protocol of HEV, the corresponding protocol for the motor controller had also been designed.This system communicated with PC through serial interface RS-232 and CAN-BUS, designs control interface of the controller using the tool of LabView. By the control interface, we can check and monitor the running course of motors, the informations we need to know about the motor also can be showed on these interface.After some communicated tests, this system was proved to operate well, and its stabilization and anti-jamming all made a good performance. This work was useful for the research and the population of CAN-BUS used in HEV. Finally, this paper presents a retrospect and a summary of the whole design task and looked into the future of the development of fieldbus.
