The Research On The Process Of Highway Project Risk Management

Expressway project is a comprehensive activity included economic, technical, management, and organization, in which the uncertainty is existed, so the expressway risk management were needed urgently. Based on risk's sources of expressway project which is the thesis's research object, a model of process of the project risk management, including risk identification, risk estimation, risk response and risk monitoring and controlling were proposed.At first, the concept and the identification of expressway project are defined .Then the typical risks of expressway project are identified and estimated. A quantitative and qualitative analysis is made to the individual risk of expressway project. The thesis made an estimation of possible probability and influence risks occurring. Based on which we evaluated these risks existing in expressway project, including ascertaining risk grade,sequencing risks, analyzing risks consequence and so forth. In this section, a kind of new expression--Risk Rectangle Diagram for risk sequence were proposed.Secondly, From risk evaluation result, the expressway project is needed to make proper measures, which consist of Avoidance, Mitigation, Transference, Acceptance, to respond expressway project risks, especially serious risks in expressway project. The thesis made an analysis of response measures to the risk of four phases of expressway project which included exploration, designation, enforcement, and termination. After the risk responses measurement, the risk monitions are needed. The thesis discussed the methods and consequences of the expressway project monition.At last, connected with practice of Quan-San expressway Project, we made use of the process model to manage risks in expressway project tentatively.
