In the construction of city and highway bridge, more and more new-style,elegancy,magnificent bridges are being to construct. The new structure style usually used in new-style,elegancy bridge: for instance concrete-filled steel tubular structure and concrete-steelcomposite beam structure, etc, these composited construction material cooperated work, dueto the use of these material, the structure looked to be elegancy and nicety and win peoples'more and more favour. With the widely used of composed construction material in the bridgeconstruction, there is necessary to analysis the ultimate load-carrying capacity and stability ofthese type structures. Combined with the engineering practice of PuHe bridge, this is a newstyle two span self-anchored cable suspension bridge, the main span beam is composiedgirder, the tower is incline concrete-filled steel tubular structure. This paper gives the studyand discussion about analytic method of ultimate load-carrying capacity and influence factor.through the compare of China,American,Europe criterion about composie bridge,get someusefull conclusion to direct design and engineering. At last, analysis the elastic stability ofself-anchored cable suspension bridge.The main research work covers the following aspects:1. The thesis introduces the history, actuality and development trend of the self-anchoredcable suspension bridge then introduce the Development and Research Work of theSteel-concrete Composite Beams and Method and significance for study of strength andstability.2. In allusion to existing theoretical study, introduce theoretical analyses, Calculation andAnalysis, numerical modelling, related theory.3. Considering material performance, structure geometrical parameter and indefinitecalculation model, influence of main parameters upon the ultimate load was analyzed.Theconculsion is that the appropriate steel ratio utilized for arch fibs, it is not only ensuringstructure ultimate load-carrying capacity, but also obtaining considerable economy on thepremise of system stability and safe.4. By comparing the China,American,Europe criterion about composite beam, getcalculation Method of load-carrying Capacity for different section type composite beam.Using calculation of a Section Model by the Finite Element Method, get the influence ofdifferent formation and development trend of structure system to component part.5. Applying the classical elasticity theory, the load transfer mechanism of self-anchoredsuspension bridge is analyzed. Justifies the viewpoint that: self-anchored cable suspensionbridge is the pendulum self-balance system.There is no problem of elastic stability.
