Our national high-speed railroad transportation is vigorously developing with the sixth enhancing velocity arrival; the demand for ride-comfort to be more and more high with the train running more and more quickly. In the human-machine environment of train, the seat is an important factor to affect ride-comfort. How to design the comfortable seat conforming to our national condition is the extremely important topic in front of us.At the beginning we fetched out the concept of riding comfort, and analyzed the factors influencing ride-comfort. In view of these factors, we lucubrated the physiological elements that influence ride-comfort, and provide the theoretically support for the study on the train seat. The study on ride-comfort of train seat includes the static comfort and dynamic comfort.Under the powerful theory strutting, in view of the static state, we analyzed the principle of design for seat static comfort, and brought forward the design-requests to the seat. According to the above proposed design-requests to the seat. According to these requests the thoughtway for designing train seat was formed. Along this mentality, we determine the chair structure and the main parameter. As for the dynamic comfort, we analyzed the vibration characteristic and the physiological response of human body, then how the physical parameters affect the deaden-vibration capability of seat.In the research technique, we has elementarily discussed the application of three-dimensional digital human body biology mechanics model. We established the person using ADAMS and LifeMOD software with which we study the supporting level on haunch. In dynamic ride-comfort research the dynamic simulation was taken using the person-chair system dynamical model to analyze how the physical parameters--damping and rigidity of seat to affect the absorption of shock performance of seat, and provided the basis for how to chose the chair the physical parameter and enhance the comfort level of seat. At the same time, these two processes of simulation elementarily accounted for the feasibility and the broad prospect of the application of virtual prototypes technology in the computer assistance man-machine engineering research.
