Fast Construction Technique Of Fu-tang Hydropower Station Surge Tank Project

The surge tank of Fu-tang power station is a cylinder restricted one, it is a huge project with 31.0m excavation and 27.0m lining diameter, 117.7m in height. The surge tank lies in the NE direction long thin ridge between Fu-tang rafters and 1# rafters, because of the bad geological condition, there are quite prominent construction problems, and construction experiments are lack on such project. It is necessary to develop a research on the fast construction technology of huge surge tank project under bad geological condition to make sure the construction to go on safely, economic, fast.This paper introduces the research on the construction technology of Fu-tang surge tank, the main points are as follows:(1) Research on skill of pre-bonding the round rock of the surge tank and put it in practice; (2) Research on skill of fast excavation construction and safely timbering; (3) Research on the skill of concrete lining construction; (4) Research on the way of fast construction of concrete.These construction technology are put in practice to safeguard the construction process, they also help quicken the rate of process. The time for the excavation construction are 12months comparing to the designing 18months.The station began to generate electricity 3.5months ahead of schedule, 230million Yuan benefit from it and in which 138million Yuan is direct economic benefit, the cost of construction reduced to 1.669million.Of the surge tanks which have been put into use up to now, Fu-tang power station surge tank has the biggest diameter in the world, but the worse geological condition. The key construction techniques that put forward in this paper can not only be a support for the project to be constructed safely, fast, and economically, but also a refer to the same projects.
