Research On The Application Of Traditional Culture In The Modern Interior Design

At the present time, China is greeting a blossomed period of economic, informational, technical development; the material and spiritual life of society has been improved to a new level, and accordingly, people have lodged new requirements to the quality of the life and living environment on security, health, comfort, beauty and other aspects. Therefore, this paper, started by the application of traditional culture in the modern interior design, tries to satisfy the functional requirements and contain cultural connotation, human-oriented conception of modern Chinese interior design.The relationship between tradition and modernity is always an important topic of construction field, and there are many arguments. This paper realizes the diversity and complexity of the application of traditional culture in the modern interior design from different perspectives. This paper regards that, on the use of traditional culture for reference, it is not about a certain symbol, body or traditional materials, but an organic integration of these aspects and balanced from a view of the whole body with moderation, it could bring a better design thinking. This paper, firstly and briefly, states the function, cultural features, regional features of Chinese traditional culture and modern catering interior design, and then it takes the modern catering interior design in Chengdu area as example, analyzing the influence of a certain region on the catering interior design, and carrying a systematic and rational application analysis of the tact of traditional culture in the modern interior design, and trying to bring together of the comments, decoration, denotation, space configuration, material, Chinese character, traditional poems, books, paintings, Chinese traditional culture symbol and the kernel of Chinese traditional culture, moreover, with real project example of Chengdu region and the particular function of catering space , enlarging the analysis to the whole Chinese interior design, holding design idea of the mix with tradition and modernity.At length, based on the application of traditional culture in the modern interior design on catering space, this paper enlightens the different methods passing and innovating the tradition, and states the modern interior design innovation and development respectively with a overall discussion as the end, for the realization of modern interior design with Chinese characteristics.
