The Analysis And Evaluation Of Shandong Freeway Network

Freeway has been playing an important role in highway transportation with security, comfort, convenience and its flexibility advantages. Now it occupies a very important position in the regional economic development.The dissertation introduces geographical location of Shandong Province, and then, analysis the socio-economic and transport development, summed up the development of Shandong Province freeway network. The technical evaluations of freeway network indexes are established based on the network performance and traffic quality. Through analyzing Shandong Province freeway network, the dissertation show that the freeway network of Shandong province has reached a certain scale, but part of the road network density is very low, and the network could not be brought into full play. Meanwhile, the adaptability evaluation index is established to evaluate the size adaptability of Shandong province freeway.Road traffic is the evaluation criteria in freeway projects operation. Combined with the real network structure of Shandong freeway, the traffic variety is analyzed and the number of lines based on traffic statistic, the total traffic space distribution of freeway network, the period of time and the space impact are gained. According to the traffic distribution and traffic growth at freeway, the impact to traffic caused by network structure variety and the effectiveness of freeway are discussed.Finally, the socio-economic impact of the region around freeway is analyzed simply and the indexes of economic and social impact evaluation are given.
