Roots blower is a medium-sized rotary being widely applied, mainly in the gas boosting andtransportation. As the core component, rotor system may run abnormally, have the failures ofunbalance, bearing damage and incorret alignment.Vibration signal is an important informationof mechanic failures.Testing and analyzing the signal can discover the failures, decreaseaccidents, ensure working safely. This is the partial subject titled "Noise source identifying andforecast model research of roots blower"(number Y2006F38) belonged to Natural ScienceFoundation of Shandong Province. The main contents in the dissertation are as follows:(1) Failures and its features of roots blower's rotor system are generalized. The main reasonof unbalance is analyzed. The methods for balancing of rigid rotor and flex rotor are described.(2) Vibration measuring system based on virtual instrument is developed by the graphicslanguage LabVIEW, through combining the technology of digital signal processing, balancein-situ andâ…¥.The function of the system:(1) Vibration data of roots blower can be collected and the running state can be monitored.Monitor parameters are the assembling unit rotational speed, vibrating value and so on. (2) Characteristic parameters and graphics of rotary running state can be provided by usingthe technology of digital signal processing Data. The functions of data analysis can beprovided. It includes time-domain analysis, frequency-domain analysis (amplitude spectrum, power spectrum, windows, spectrum average, etc), axle center trace showing, correlationanalysis, and so on.(3) Convenient operation interface is designed.(4) Two kinds dynamic balance (uniplanar and biplanar) are realized.
