How is architecture to suit climate enviroments, to pass ontraditional architectural cultures and to maintain regionalcharateristics? This is one of most important aspects of architecturalstudies nowdays. Huizhou's traditional dwellings is most vividembodiment of Huizhou culture, reflecting the social history and culturein Huizhou area, it has had much experience in design with climate.Through a great deal of on-the-spot investigation, fieldmeasurement of indoor thermal comfort, this paper analyzed the villageplaning, design, structure and constitution about Huizhou'straditional dwellings. Some feasible suggestions were put forward topromote the traditional dwelling design with local climate.
