| The energy conservation and sustainable development is one of important goals of each country, it is the keystone of energy-saving study how to reduce energy consumption by construction and enhance the utilization of energy in construction. The scale of existing building is most large, which has roared to 42 billion square meters, another 40 billion square meters of new building would be in great need in the future 30 years. The existing building is the valuable production of high energy consumption, Among the existing, 99 percent of about 40 billion square meters of existing building have been low-efficent ones. With the development of society and economy, the environmental quality of existing-building has been decreased, but the dweller's desire of enjoying the advantage of modern facilities has become stronger and stronger. Therefore, it has become urgent and crucial problem that how to develop the proper economical and environmental energy conservation technologies and assessment approach for existing building in order to reduce energy consumption by existing-building and to advance the scientific assessment and decision-making approach for renovation engineering of existing buliding while maintaining the function and environmental quality of existing-building.The object of Value Engineering is to find out the optimum matching between them based on the research about the ratio of the object's function and cost of life circle to promote the project's value. Life Circle Assessment is to analyse and appraisal the resource used and effection on environment from the whole life of the production, that is, from collection, process, transportation and disposal and reuse of resource. Therefore, they are introudced to the research on optimizing technologies and assessment approach of energy conservation for existing building. The dissertation discusses energy conservation technologies opimization for existing building based on Value Engineering on the case of choosing the optimum project of diffirent styles of windows and walls, and then establishes the appraisal model from the life circle for assessing energy consumption in existing building. The method is also applied in the practical case, and the results indicate the combined assessment approach of energy conservation renovation of existing building based on Value Engineering and Life Circle Assessment is a kind of scientific appraisal and decision-making method which integratedly considers technical, economical and environmental benefit, and it is most significant to decide the project of energy conservation renovation for existing building. |
