Auto-cascade refrigeration system with a rectification device is a kind of refrigeration in which mixed refrigerant is employed and only a one-stage compressor is required. It uses rectificationc olumna s a component separator, which can greatly improve the separation efficiency and make considerable improvement in efficiency and stability of the refrigeration system.The system is designed on the basis of thermodynamic analysis and a series of experiments on the traditional auto-cascade refrigeration system. In this thesis, the new rectification auto-cascade refrigeration system is studied in both theory and experiment. The main research contents are as follows:1. An improved rectification column is proposed. Its working performance is verified in both theory and experiment, and the results show that it can still maintain a good rectification effect under different working conditions, which points out a new direction for solving the flooding problem existed in the traditional systems.2. The mixed refrigerant concentration in the new system can be improved dynamically in a large range of temperature through adjusting the low boiling point component's concentration, so that the water equivalents in high and low pressure side of the system can be matched dynamically, thus the operating parameters such as inlet temperature, outlet temperature,t he pressure ratio of the compressor can be optimized.
