With the constant development of energy market, coal customers' demands are becoming diversified and the wharf working environment requires improved. The closed yard coal wharf attracts relevant technical staffs attention because of their outstanding advantages in environmental protection, coal blending, security and etc. However, interiorly, there is not relevant experience about design and management for the closed yard coal wharf with coal silos; thus, there are still practical engineering problems to be settled. Combining with the first domestic closed yard coal wharf coal silos (the planning design object of Tianjing Shenhua closed yard coal wharf second stage engineering), this thesis performs a profound research. It mainly includes the follows:Firstly, it illustrates the basic constitutes and operational processes of the coal wharf logistics system. It focuses on the operational model, logistics instruments and the kinds of silos, and combining with the planning design object of Tianjing Shenhua closed yard coal wharf second stage engineering, analyzes and contrasts the respective good and bad between traditional yards and the new yards with silos. Then, it analyzes the complex logical relations of each unit and each level of this system, also points out the future advantages of closed yard coal wharf.Secondly, it gives the dynamic model and random variable model of closed yard coal wharf logistics system. On the basis of systematic formalization description and Petri network theory and it analyzes the internal logical relation and dynamic behavior of closed yard coal wharf logistics system, also the dynamic model of this system. Basing on a profound research of logistics system of coal wharf's discrete characteristic, and meanwhile, according to the practical running data, it sets up the main random variable model of coal wharf's logistics system.Thirdly, it establishes the simulation model of closed yard coal wharf and performs lots of simulation experiments on the model. Basing on the previous model, the simulation system of planning design object of Tianjing Shenhua closed yard coal wharf second stage engineering is set up with the WITNESS'S simulation platform. And through changing the operational tactics of coal wharfs' and the amount of silos, lots of logistics plans are put forward and simulation experiments are executed. And finally, the optimizatized resource distribution way and management mode are worked out.This research work concerned in this thesis will benefit the design and government of closed yard coal wharf.
