Coal is the main energy in modern thermal power plant, coal handling plant that is the important part of thermal power plant answers for unloading, storing, distributing, screening, crushing work and so on. If coal handling plant is not arranged appropriately, it leads to too longer coal route and bigger yard. While the key part of coal handling plant is not arranged appropriately, the whole coal handling plant will have problem and bug will occur again and again, it leads to larger economic losses in thermal power plant. The article deeply analyses coal handling plant, and designs the key part of coal handling plant according to logistics management idea, it can make the whole coal handling plant runs effectively and saves economic cost. This article mainly includes:(1) Optimize the screen and crusher arrangement, in order to make coal flow not build up and save crusher house steel cost.(2) According to strip stockyard and circle stockyard character, design stack-reclaim work flow on logistics management. At the same time, by comparing several design scheme, choose the best and save stockyard investment cost.(3) Appropriately arrange conveyor system,as per lower power consume, standardization and general service, in order to save transportation cost.
