| Corrugated box has been used widely in the packaging for its non-polluting, renewable, low cost, good advantages in the buffer performance, and the strength of corrugated box is essential to preserve goods. How to improve the strength of packaging containers, reduce the dosage of packaging materials and the damage amount is a problem that is urgent need to be solved. The crease of corrugated board is an necessary process in manufacturing corrugated box and different accuracy of crease depth and location can not guarantee the strength of cartons because they often lead to the warp of carton sizes.Crease play an important role in molding and aesthetics of corrugated box, not only can significantly improve product packaging grades, but also can increase the value-added of packaging. In the process of creasing, accuracy of crease depends on the quality of the mechanical precision of die-cutting machine, the precision of die-board, as well as the reasonable selection of materials of creasing steel wire and many other factors. In addition, whether the settings of die-cutting and creasing are reasonable or not also affected the quality of the products, and it is a key to ensure the die-cutting process achieve technological requirements in post-press finishing. The APDL (ANSYS Parametric Design Language) was used in this paper to simulate the creasing and folding process of corrugated board. First a corrugated board model was built up. Then Contact analysis and MPC (Multipoint Constraint) technology was used in the course of simulation with considering Geometric nonlinear and nonlinear material of corrugated board. the results including deformation map of corrugated board , maximum stress and stress distribution map were given. At last different process parameters (including the shape of creasing steel wire, the width of the creasing interleaver, etc.) were analysed on the creasing and folding process of corrugated board to find out the impact of stress distribution and some conclusions were given out. The change trends of die-cutting pressure and folding moment in the creasing and folding process of corrugated board were discussed too. Finally, the research conclusion and expectations were given and the keynotes of the future researches were pointed out. |
