This article mainly discusses the applying of the application engineering methodology, i.e. the combination of systematic method and engineering practices, in the systematic solution of vehicle braking safety system, hence sets up the systematic frame of application technology of vehicle braking safety system.It introduces research and development status of vehicle braking safety system home and abroad, the key issues of the development process, the future development trend, as well as the working principle and structure of the braking safety system.Through the integration of systematic method and the practices of application technology, it makes the theory practical and the engineering practices theoretical. On the basis of practical engineering experiences, the article concludes a systematic matching design method, including the design of systematic application scheme and the matching design of major assemblies, spare parts thereinto, confirming systematic application scheme through selection of layout, systematic control mode. Meanwhile it explains the application scheme of system extension function, including off-road function, traction mode optimization, the application of ASR , RSC,ESC,TPM,EBL,BPM and ACC. The article also analyzes the matching design of corresponding parts e.g. pole wheel, sensor, ABS solenoid, ECU, harness, ASR solenoid, indicator, switch, etc, therefore obtains related design rule as the method and theoretical basis for engineers.Based on the design evaluation and regulation evaluation of prototype vehicle, the article forms an evaluation system of the application technology of braking safety system, and draws relevant evaluation rules. In addition, it offers systematic method of failure diagnosis to designers and users, summarizes the frequent failure and solutions of the system per the analysis of numerous practical repair records, and advances the operation rules to reduce the ordinary failure rate.
